Winwick is a small village close to the Northants border with Warwickshire. Despite being such a small community, it has an interesting history. Which we will explore on this special site.

Winwick Fete 2009

The village, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book, has links with the Tales of King Arthur by Thomas Mallory, the Battle of Naseby and the development of the Gothic Revival style of church architecture. It has a manor house, which is the oldest lived in house in Northamptonshire, a church (dedicated to St Michael and All Angels), a former mill which has now been divided into three properties and many other intersting buildings.
